I can't get my top to go all the way down.I noticed it has a big zipper .So I was wondering if you have to unzip it to lower the back window first.

Never put one down before. Your owners manual should be able to tell you, or an extremely quick call to a ford dealer and they would be able to let you know. I would try unzipping the zipper. Wouldn't hurt to try.

I owned a 1989 Mustang LX convertible for 20 years. The top doesn't fit completely inside. I had to put on the boot ( a real pain) to make it look good. Unzipping the glass window won't help & it's tuff to get it zipped up again.

DON"T UNZIP THE ZIPPER!..It's a real pain in the a$$ to get back right. My friend did and when he put the top down the window cracked because it wasn't seated right. Gustang is right the top does not go down all the way. The boot can be a pain but if you start by fastenign it at the top of the back seeat, then snapping in the snaps on the side, it won't be long before you get the hang of it.

top windows only crack when they are put up or down when the temperature is below 65 degrees
