You can remove and replace the trim without doing anything to the windshield.

Tx so much for your ideas. THIS WIND SHIELD WAS. JUST REPLACED BY THE USED CAR DEALER JUST BEFORE I PICKED THE CAR UP. 9 days later i noticed the trim coming loose. Call the dealer for the name of the windshield shop so I could ask them to fix it WAS TOLD SHOP WENT OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!!RIGTH AND THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE NAME OF THE SHOP. I TIED CALLING OTHER SHOP AND AM TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE TO REMOVE THE WINDSHIELD . NEVER BUY FROM TROPI CAL MOTORS 1501 KING HWY COCOA FL. I ALREADY PUT IN $3300 IN THIS S40. .WORK DONE BY MY VERY TRUSED VOLVO MAN ,HE COULD NOT GO WITH ME WHEN I CHECK IT OUT.NOW IT IS GREAT &SAFT RUNNING CONDITION.
