My 2001 S60 gas door has locked and it has never happened before. I have had the car for 2 years and I have always just been able to open with my hand. I have read the manual and tried to lock and unlock with the remote. Is there a pull cord in the trunk that someone knows of that can open the door? I tried to look in the trunk on the side where the gas tank is and couldnt seem to locate.

I have a Volvo 2003 S60 that had to have an emissions test. While connected to the emissions test computer, the computer asked questions, but the questions only were about half way completed, and the computer started over again at the beginning asking the same questions. It then said that the computer was not communicating with the Volvo. Have you heard of this problem? The mechanic suggested I may have to spend $4,500 to replace the computer. 1 Answer

Greetings from The Lone Star state! Q: I recently purchased a 2001 Volvo S60 Turbo in automatic. Non-Geartronic, 144K miles and in excellent condition minus "Transmission Service Req'd and Check Engine Light" on. The car is in limp mode and the car barely moves...just revs and seems like the discs aren't engaging to propel the car forward. The codes are "TCM- related and Cat Converter as well as "wrong gear ration 3". Several shops have stated that my tranny is screwed as 99s-02s trannies are junk. Anyway, will disconnecting my battery help the car reset and make the limp mode go away? I already have a print out with the codes. Thank you for any/all advice. 5 Answers

2005 s60 2.5t multiple cyliner misfires. changed plugs, cylinder 2 still misfiring and running rich. codes are not accessible by mechanic so its off to the dealer I go unless you have an idea. Thanks 2 Answers
