I have a Volvo 2003 S60 that had to have an emissions test. While connected to the emissions test computer, the computer asked questions, but the questions only were about half way completed, and the computer started over again at the beginning asking the same questions. It then said that the computer was not communicating with the Volvo. Have you heard of this problem? The mechanic suggested I may have to spend $4,500 to replace the computer.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The emissions test computer asked questions but only completed about half the
questions before starting over again at the beginning.  It did this three times.

This happened at two garages and at a Volvo dealership, all three emissions tests incomplete with the tests starting over in the middle of the test.
