90 y.o. couple is sell'g an immaculate 2000 Volvo S70 for $5K. Only 90,000 miles (not the usual $153K) & *all* the perks. Looks like it just came off the lot. I live in a ski area (awd). Should I buy?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Know others say no more than $3500 for it but this car is SWEET. In fact,
were it not for the odometer, I'd think it brand new.
Has had all maintenance on time, one owner, 4 matching Michelin tires &
another for a spare. Everything works, incl. AC & heater & SOOOOO comfy.
(Seats feel like their hugging you.)
The awd is the real draw for me (tons of snow in winter), I was prepped to
settle for a 4wd ~ *never* thought I'd drive a Volvo!

Unless it's an immaculate, fully-optioned T5, you're not going to get $5,000. I'd go $4,000 max. I know what you mean about the seats. I have a '98 V70, and the seats are the best I've ever been in. Even down to the headrests, they're fantastic.

Thanks you two. Will follow both your advice but... (am a car moron), what's a T5?
