Noise is most commonly the tires. "V" cut tread designs tend to be noisier. What tire is on car now? Does car have "Runflats" (Does car have spare). I believe original tires were Bridgestone RE050's. Continental usually a great choice. Michilin will give best ride and durability, but can ne noisy. Road noise and wheel bearing noise can be identical. With such low mileage, wheel impact would be most likely reason for damaged bearing. Most mechanics can test drive and spin wheels in air to determine cause of noise.

I had what I thought was transmission shaft noise on my 2008 E class, especially at low speed uphill. I took it to the dealer, the mechanic said immediately, without even driving the car, front tyres would be the problem. He fitted spares that they kept in the repair shop, and we went for a drive. I saw/heard the difference before we’d left the car park. So new front tyres, properly tracked up, problem gone.
