It says on my clk249 instrument panel that my phone system is not available why is this

if it has a sim card, take it out and put it back in. does it work now?

Hi mick I've just bought the clk240 and it has buttonson the steering wheel for a phone but every time I press it it says not available I have tried pairing my phone on Bluetooth but my phone canot find the merc Bluetooth has the car got built in Bluetooth or do I have to buy a system cheers
