My battery is dead and AAA came out and told me I had two batteries in my car. I have a
2 year old Interstate battery and it is deader than dead. I also called people that put it in
and they told me it would be some ridiculous amount. How much should I pay and is
there one battery better than another? Thanks

Depending on the battery you buy, it will either be very expensive or just expensive. The stronger battery will have a larger cranking power capacity, longer guarantee, and cost more. Going through MBZ dealer will get you a top line battery, maybe, and be a bit very pricy. If you can do it yourself, you save a lot of labor expense. Local car parts places can show you what is needed. They also can tell you where both batteries are located and what they are for and do. If you have a fairly new battery, check on the length of the guarantee and there should be an adjustment on the battery. Before replacing it, have the battery tested. It may be there is a lose or corroded connection that is preventing the battery from being charged by your car. Also check to make sure your charging devices are working. Your problem just may be a bad alternator.
