i have mercedes benz clk 350 battery dead need to set it to neutral

i have a mercedes benz clk and im trying to put it on neutral but the batterys
dead is there any way to put in on neutral to push it so i can get a jump ??

is it in gear? If it is in park, no need to put it in numeral. If it is in gear and the dead battery is preventing the transmission from moving, when the jumpstarted is attached, it should allow it to be placed in numeral or park. I subset park so it will not roll or pop into gear.
