How do I find the fuel pump and filter on a 1996 sl320 mercedes benz

The fuel pump is underneath the car at the rear, silver can, possibly 2 side by side. Filter is attached to the engine, look for a screw on can, bit fatter than a tin of beans.

Passenger side underneath the bac seat under the car. Could be a box also.

if you not located the pump, I just changed mine, rear wheel passenger side inside a plastic cover, you only have one pump, Bosch e-bay about ~$175 new. The fuel pump rarely burn, they're direct drive, if clogged then you need to change the filter as well.
