What is responsibility of car dealerships to provide Salvage information?

Asked by Anthony May 21, 2020 at 05:42 PM about the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK

Question type: General

Why cant conversations regarding salvage information not be able to post to
comments after speaking to the dealership? They had no information on the
extent of salvage damage and mentioned it is the buyers responsibility to pay
$50 to find out. Really seems irresponsible the dealer could not provide this
information to all prospective buyers.

There are other issues with salvage cars. If you sell it you may get nothing for it and you may have problems insuring it and financing it.
