My CLK 280 judders when put into reverse of drive and will not move out of 1st. Any ideas?

Get to a dealer or qualified MB shop for tranny diagnosis. Any fluid changes recently? Any other messing with the transmission. You coud try a transmission reset (key on, hold accelerator pedal to floor for about 10 sec., release, turn off key, leave in) the see if any changes, but probably a deeper electronic issue.Here's a link: http://www.mercedesmedic.com/reset-mercedes-benz-transmission-procedure-instructions/
