1974 Charger Build Sheet Question

Asked by Toolman_74 Oct 03, 2007 at 04:29 PM about the 1974 Dodge Charger

Question type: General

I have a 1974 charger that has a build sheet under the back seat. When I took a look at it  I noticed the last six numbers did not match the last six numbers on the vin or fender tag.
My vin number end 114325, the numer on the build sheet is 112241. there is a 2084 difference
in the numbers. I was wondering if this build sheet would still be correct for my car as it is 2084 cars built before my car. Would this be a standard build sheet for the cars that were running on the assembly line and had the same components going in them.

Sounds like someone perhaps threw the wrong build sheet in the wrong vehicle. Check out www.allpar.com, they may have more information on this for you.
