what was the largest engine size put in a 1970 dodge dart swinger from the factory?

it would be the 440 magnum motor, and yeah i believe it had a 6 pack option in the dart, but there wasnt the option for the 426 hemi though

the superstock factory drag darts got the 426 hemi...came straight from the factory with plastic windows, radio delete, acid dipped bodys, fiberglass panels.

What do you mean by biggest? 440 had the most displacement but the 426 hemi was a gargantuan in physical size.

I think from the factory in '70 was the 340.

Yes, the only bigger in 1970 was the 340 ,the 440 was only on challengers 6 pack,but was used for darts and valiants as well :)

Big blocks were only put in 68s and 69s. The largest factory installed engines in 70 was the 340. I believe in 74 they went to the 360.
