my truck will run about 2 blocks and dies. will not start till the next day. new distributor,cap.rotor, plugs,wires, and ignition coil. also installed an electric fuel pump. tried 2 mechanical pumps but didn't work. cleaned fuel tank and replaced all rubber fuel lines and fuel filter. fuel filter has a return port for return to tank. also installed new ignition control and resister.

Have you cleaned the carburetor? My W350 did the same and it was the carburetor the whole time.

No return line necessary with 5-7 psi electric fuel pump. Rebuild the carburetor, check the needle and seat when rebuilding probably not maintaining fuel level Or purchase a re-manufactured if you can't rebuild.

brand new carburetor. fuel pump pressure is maximum 9 psi. pump is about 20 inches from fuel tank.

Another way to test the fuel is to use a compressor and insert air pressure in the tank to see if the fuel will flow out of intake fuel line.
