well decided to try a smarter route due to the truck sitting for a very long time and pulled the water pump and well.......glad i did the aluminum timing chain cover/water pump housing has a hole eaten through it allowing the coolant to fill the oil pan through the oil return holes in the block so now we replace the housing and the water pump and reinstall the radiator and see if the cooling system holds if so them the oil gets changed and life anew starts for this very capable off road rig more to come in resurrection of mopar's lesser known work horse the ram charger(thinking of going with a snow camo paint job )thanks for the outlet in which to share the progress of my truck i hope all enjoy the journey as much as i know i will
