Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Car starts with remote starter. I put key in it stops. I
try starting it cranks but doesn’t turn over.
Mechanic tells me it’s my ABS module needs to be
changed. Have you ever heard of this that this
prevents the car from starting?

Factory security or after market viper ect? Most cars require you to use fob or key to allow access to continue running abs module has nothing to do w starting or running
If you have an OBD light on, will start and then die in about 10 seconds. Set by factory to prevent damage.
Still waiting they told me it’s a Chrysler thing that if the ABS module doesn’t work my car won’t start. They have had my car for a week, think they are still looking as they promised me that was the issue.
