Do all Compasses come with an Air Conditioner. Some sites say that air conditioning is an 800 dollar add on.

Does every Jeep Compass package include some form of Air Conditioning?

Suprisingly the 2007 Jeep Compass does NOT come with standard air conditioning. http://www-5.jeep.com/vehsuite/VehicleCompare.jsp If you scroll about half way down you will see that the Compass has air condition as an available option on the vehicle.
Yes they all come with airconditioning now a days it is mandatory.
Since when? and where are you that that is mandatory? I know here in Missouri you can goto your local dealer and buy a car without AC. I know some places require a heater, but I don't know of anywhere were AC is mandatory.

Hello, The 2007 jeep Compass has optional AC. In the lower sport package, (25D/26D), it was a $850 option. It is standard on the higher sport package (25E/26E) and all limited models. Dave
