started up fine again today. but noticed oil leak from sending unit? right side of engine in front of oil filter.

high it sounds like a bad crank sensor or dist pickup heating up and cutting out....// try while it is running to wiggle the wires to each and see if it dies ...// if that doesn't work check to see if you have spark when it doesn't start
