How can I fix rear oil pan gasket without dismantling?

It throws out oil until it gets down to quart low. Over a year ago I cleaned it up good with a long handled brush and carb. cleaner then shot silicone up in there with tube on caulking gun. Stopped it dead until about 3 weeks ago then it started leaking again, have tried same thing twice with no luck.

Just run it a quart low. Won't hurt a thing, as long as you don't let it drop any lower than that.
just drain oil;then change gasket...u may hav prblem cleaning up the mess from the silicone n caulk,cause the surface has to be clean when u replace the new gasket.
Impossible. Do it the right way man, its a few bolts and a new gaket. You dont want to run the Jeep out of oil.
The rear part of the oil pan has a 2 piece seal for the rear shaft. Since it is spinning, the silicone is a poor choice, not to mention that it would be really hard to get it to stick. Dropping the pan and replacing the gasket and rear seal is pretty simple, so there would be no reason to do it the wrong way.
Adam is right, replace your rear main while you are in there!!
