Oil pressure dropped down to zero and when the engines cold it takes about ten minutes for the oil pressure to move. What's could be wrong?

Sounds like the oil pressure sending unit. This is located right in the fitting that the oil filter screws on to, or close to it. Should be a small unit that will have one or two wires going to it.
