split windows are hard to come by so its worth something but what is something that you will have to do some research to find out what the condition is and how much other bug of that type and condition are getting check ebay and car clubs to get an idea

So far it is hard to find a '53 for sale or sold from completed listings. It's in pretty good shape, etc. but I'll just keep hunting up some info. tks- Ed

I'd suggest you do some research on this site http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/cat.php?id=65 There are way too many factors that will affect the price of such car...post some pictures for my viewing pleasure :-) Good Luck!
