hi. my 1970 vw twinport is losing power and sounds like it wants to die when i drive slow but when i floor it there is no problems. i have put in new points and condenser, did the valve clearance and set the timing. what might be the problem?

well with older cars its either spark gas or air. You may need to take the carb off and get it rebuilt. it does not cost to much to do if i remember correctly but this is your likely suspect for a stalling issue when you hit the gas.
