how do you remove the starter motor?

I need to know how to remove the starter motor from my 1971 Beetle with 1500cc. i already unbolted the bottom bolt that you can see, and disconnected all the wires what else is there to do? it still doesn't move.

You are going to need a Chilton or a Haynes manual. It will tell you how to do anything and everything to your vehicle.

AS you stand at back you have to undo the top right engine mounting bolt. This is the shaped, anti rotating, bolt.
