It really depends on where you are, what has been done to the car, condition of the body (i.e. Rust/Paint/Fittings) and the originality. If it is completely stock and in mint condition, you could probably get around $6 - $7K in Australia, but you would need to find an enthusiast willing to pay it. Unfortunately 70s bugs are not as sought after as the older bugs, and this often brings their prices down a bit.The bug in the picture looks like it has been customised a bit, so this would bring prices down. If you are looking to buy, find an online buyers guide and check all the problem areas before making a decision to purchase.
