Have a 1978 super beetle I think the alarm is conflicting with fuel injection it turn over but will only start with starting fluid

I changed battery points coil  it starts only with starting fluid the alarm goes off but reactivates red light to green light
for one second then back to red I don't want this stupid alarm can I deactivate it

You should be able to remove it without too much hassle, just trace back the wires from the battery and then from the control box on and remove all unnecessary electrical items.
