2007 ford fusion- i put the key in the ignition but it will not turn I tried moving the steering wheel to the left and tried moving the drive shift but still won't budge....I've seen similar problems with the same make on other posts should i tap on cylinder to try start or would it be the tumbler?

did you try using your spare key, if not i suggest you replace the ignition

i have the same problem. my friend looked at it and told me its either the starter or the switch board. any ideas how much thatd cost?
