I have an 07 Mazda 6 / 4 cyl, heat is not working, blows cold air. Other than a stuck-open thermostat, what could this be ?

its very possible for your car to just be low on coolant/antifreeze. check that. if not maybe that thermostat.

my 6 has no heat either. coolant is full and just changed the thermostat AND flushed the lines with water. nothing.

I just purchased a used 2006 Mazda 6 that was pulling codes for thermostat problems and not blowing hot air inside the cab. I replaced thermostat and it was still blowing cold air. Checked the in cabin air filter (super easy to change) and it was filthy. Changed it out and now I get warm air, but it's not hot. I can't get my dash switch to change to recirculation mode. Wondering if I have some sort of blocked or faulty heater core.
