Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got car for nothing and impressed.  Radio not working, power antenna just klicks and radio does not come on.  All the lights light up except for the actual radio.  Should the radio work with a power antenna do working.

Can your fix the antenna without taken it out??

Is this radio with all the various buttons worth fixing?

Impressive to look at??

You will have to take the antenna out to fix it. The radio should still be operational even without the power antenna functioning. I would not bother fixing the radio -- find a good used one from a junkyard or get an aftermarket replacement at a place like Circuit City. Most factory stereos are way overpriced for what they do, an aftermarket job is more affordable and usually has more functions.
