How do I pull out the camshaft?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1986 Nissan 300zx VG30 NA - So I got down to the camshaft after taking off the rocker cover and valve lifter guide. The retaining bolt at the rear of the camshaft won't come out. I think the head is getting stripped. How do I keep the camshaft from rotating while trying to unscrew the retaining bolt? Can I just pull it out w/ force?

It would be easiest to use an impact gun to take the bolt out; it applies enough torque fast enough to remove it before turning it.
