Lift the front end and check to see if the calipers are locked up. Spin the wheels, should spin freely.
The caliper pistons get dirt around the piston and so when you collapse it the dirt gets along side of the wall, or just corrosion inside around the caliper piston, or the brake line hose running to the caliper can go bad internally not allowing the fluid to flow, keeping pressure on the caliper piston. Two other things to cause a caliper to be locked up would be the slide pins being frozen up, or if the master cylinder reservoir is over full with brake fluid. The fluid level should only be up to the fill line.
