Question type: General

When I was in school(many years ago lol) I/may Dad had a 74 lemans, it had a colum shifter and bench seat.  I have looked/searched on the net trying to find out what model it is. Everything I am finding is bucket seats with floor shifter. Anyone know?

the standard lemans came with the shifter on the column. the sports lemans had the floor shifter & bucket seats . or it could have been ordered that way . there were many options that year. if you need to more you can contact pontiac historic service .phs-online.com . they can tell you everything the car was ordered with down to the hub caps.

I had a 74 lemans sport coupe in 74 and mine had a bench seat with a column shift. It came from the factory with sport coupe emblems. It had a 350 4 barrel carb, rally wheels, tilt wheel and am/fm radio, and that was all the extras it had. I have looked for years to find one but have had very little luck.
