2007 Ponitac Vibe won't turn over

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Car worked fine, then after sitting for 2-3 hours, it won't turn over. All lights and gauges work. You can hear the clicking of the starter when you try to turn it over, but no juice at all when you try to start it.

The exact same thing happened to my wife a few years back. It's probably the battery. If you can jump the car and it starts, your battery took a dump.
I Agree with richard. try jumping first. if that doesnt work, and starters slicking fast and persistantly, as silly as it sounds, make sure you have enough fuel! when I used to do roadside battery service for AAA, I cant tell you how many times people had me come out thinking btheir battery was dead and it ended up being the fact that they forgot to get gas and it had enough to get them to where they were going but not enough to start it again once shut off. if not that, try pounding on fuel tank with rubber mallet ot similar. its unlikely a 2007 vibe has bad fuel pump but if you have gone to gas station with filthy fuel, its possible. hitting tank should start it just dont shut it off until youre home or at shop.
My 2007 vibe is doing the exact same thing now. May I ask what the problem was?
