Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My daughter parked her car last night. After two hours it looks like most of the oil has dumped out on the driveway. No leaks leading up to the car at all.I looked for a hundred feet.It was serviced in January.

Jack it up and look. May have lost the drain plug. Never the less you should be able to see where the oil came from with that much oil loss in one spot.

Drain plug is in place.Do any oil lines run towards the rear of the car? The oil is all over the back of the fiber cover under the car.

I don't know this car very well, but an oil leak like that you should be able to find. There could be a oil cooler set-up, I suspect the oil was blowing back from the leak to the rear... Is bad as it is leaking you should be able to fill the oil, and just let it run to see where the oil is coming from, I would think you would be able to pinpoint the area of the leak as it should drip onto the ground. Then it is just a mater of jacking it up and looking in that area for the oil leak. Easiest to get it up on a hoist if one is near by, just make sure and not run it out of oil.
