Chevy cavalier 05 starts but wont stay running

Asked by GuruXL4FD Oct 23, 2018 at 09:25 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car was grounded to the body at the rusted away
battery tray. I regrounded the battery to the body
and now it wont start. It starts but dies after a
couple seconds. The cars theft system was on
before this happened. I tried the resetting of the
car but it doesnt seem to work. Is it the theft
system not allowing the car to stay running?

Yes it actually sounds like a theft system problem, You'll have to read the codes to find out where the problem is
