2007 subaru vibration at 40mph
7 Answers
Tires out of balance, bent wheel, worn suspension, bad wheel bearing etc.
checked tires, replaced drive shaft, left wheel bearing replaced, replaced r/f axle assembly , RF & LF bushings replaced. All work performed at two Subaru dealers at a cost of $2,500.00 and I still have the vibration.
If you can find a tire shop that has a Road Force balancer it might be worth trying.

$2500 to kill a vibration?! WB, axle and bushings should be about $500, so where's the extra $2k?
that's nuts.. you're getting raped by these dealers. Call SOA and complain that the issue wasn't solved by the dealers and you still have this problem.
It could even be an engine miss or a transmission issue. Pretty hard to tell from the limited information that was given.
