rattle

Asked by golfermp Sep 28, 2010 at 06:21 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Express

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I accelerate especially, I hear a noisy rattle from what appears to be near the side doors. The moulding on the one door seems very loose, and I think should be glued or adhere to the metal tighter.  Is this the possible cause?  Anyone else experience this?
The Chev 3500 is my Roadtrek 190p, year 2005.

I have the same acceleration rattle on my 2005 Chevrolet 3500 Roadtrek 210. It sounds like the side door window is vibrating but touching the window while accelerating does not stop the rattle. No fix yet

A bad rear tire was the cause of the rattle. Installed new tires and the noise disappeared.
