2005 impala 3400 motor keep cutting off

Does it have gas in the tank? Don't trust the gas gauge. I'm a HUGE GM fan but their gas gauge sending units are horrible in most of their vehicles.

TransAm77 is the sending unit for gauge connected to the pump on those cars? Or a separate unit? Float?

Most are conneted to the pump as one unit, however, NAPA has them separate on some applications. I replaced just the sending unit on my daughters Grand Prix. It was a 3800 not a 3400. So not sure if the sending units/pumps are the same for the different engines. Call your local NAPA store and ask.

by cutting off do you mean shuddering? like at 20-30 then 55-60 and feels like its down shifting and it slams around?
