Yes, if the sensor is close to oil filter and he replaced the filter, he may have bumped the electrical connector on that sensor. I have had it happen to me, in the past, on a different vehicle. I just unplugged the sensor and plugged it back in, oil pressure reading was restored. Might be other issues, but that sensor was my first thought.
Yesterday oil pressure went to 80. My husband changed the oil now pressure is at zero. Could this be the sending unit?
