Where is the oil pressure sending unit on a
2005 Chevy Tahoe 5.3l vortec 4wd

I've noted that most oil pressure sending units are located pretty close to the oil filter base. That's because oil pressure is measured as it comes off the pump, going to the filter. There might be a YouTube video you can see if you are not sure where to look.

It’s on the Back of the engine block . You access it from drivers side over the top of engine near firewall.
