Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anybody have a good (cheap) parts supplier.... I need a front under engine air dam for a 88 S+4... was quoted $250 by my local Porsche dealer....

Goto pelicanparts.com's forum and ask the guys there... I highly recomend not going to a Porsche dealer for parts unless they are the only source you can find for the parts.... If in a pinch there are a handfull of Porsche salvage yards that might be able to help you out.... German Auto Dismantlers is one I've had good experience with, but I can only speak for my experience.

Are you talking about the engine belly pan or the front chin spoiler? I like 928 specialists (928gt.com) and 928 Motorsports (928motorsports.com). Motorsports has an aluminum version of the belly pan thats a bit more durable than the OEM plastic one. However, you'll still need the 3 bits of ducting that guide air upwards.
