Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need car to drive 100+ miles to teach class. Car killed with no warning, flashing lights or strange sounds. Had to have car towed. Still will not start but will turn over--partly. Need help and answers. Only means of transportation.

High mileage? That car has a timing belt, and ooh geez, Hope to gosh it didn't break. That belt among other things drives the oil pump. Just in case it did, do NOT keep attempting to start it, will only cause further damage. Sudden engine failures are often caused by that.
