Ongoing problem with engine light going on due to gas cap.

Asked by Jluith May 31, 2013 at 04:19 PM about the 2003 Hummer H2

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced gas cap 4 times since 2003 and this has cleared engine light problem each time.  However most recent gas cap change has not remedied engine light.  Any suggestions?

You aren't stopping at the first click...if you had this would not be a problem...it is hard to do...you gonna top it off, especially if you are trying to make it to the next even dollar....crikey! NO don't do it....unless you want a hassle with the check engine light and like that....you did not need any caps...run with your first one (the factory one) and put the others in a drawer somewhere....don't fill up the tank....no just don't do it....stop at one click!~
