No, the only Kia vehicles that I know of right now that have built in immobilizers (need programmed) are the Amanti and Sedona.

if the key you have has a little cross at the top of the silver part then yes it is chipped. You will have to get that replaced at the dealership. Otherwise if it doesn't then you can get that key made anywhere.

You need to go to dealer for a new key fob. i hope that helps.
