i have a 2007 scion tc my engine light wount go off can you hlp me

my friend used my car and drove it out of oil i put 2 qurts of that purple oil o weight but my
engine light wount go off can i fix this or do i need tohave work done on it now

Your engine requires more than just 2 quarts. When you said that your "friend" ran it out of oil was it completely out of oil or did it shut itself off do to low oil level? At this point get the oil and filter changed so you know that you have the correct oil and oil level. That ZERO weight oil is the last thing you want right now. Have your "friend" pay for the mess that they coused!
