You can never really go wrong with chambered mufflers, look into getting a Series 40 Flowmaster, or a Super Series 44 Muffler. They have a much more deeper tone then your average 2 chamber mufflers, the angles of the baffles give it that deep sound, much like a Delta Flow muffler, but better, they sound great on V6 cars and good on 4 cylinders if you do not dump them at the axle. You can get them used for less then $60.

Flowmaster 40 series. Even cat back is only a few hundred dollars. Muffler itself usually 50 to 80 dollars. Magnaflow is nice also. Larger tailpipes / super traps will give you a deeper tone. A v6 will never sound like a v8, but can sound good. Best of luck, if I can help let me know.
