where is the engine block warmer located on a 2004 silverado 2500

This was an option put on at the dealer when the vehicle was either bought new or purchased used. Was it on there when you bought it? If it wasn't you don't have one. It is not a standard factory install. There should be a short extension cord visible near the engine heads, generally towards the front of the vehicle motor.
