Batteries not charging

I just recently had the "battery's not charging" pop
up on my dash. I changed the alternator and my
battery's charged. Now on my way home from work
tonight the same message popped up again. Does
anyone have an idea or advice as to what it could
be? 04 chevy duramax

First make sure it turns freely, check battery cables to make sure there's no corrosion and that they're tight, check connectors on alternator, make sure they're tight and the wire plug is not burnt. If everything checks out ok, take it to ur local auto parts and they'll check charging system. If alternator is bad, it should be under warranty

No check engine light, it's weird I was driving down the highway going about 75 and battery's were charging, all of a sudden the warning popped up on my dash
2003 Chevy 2500 hd battery light flashing battery reads 12.6 alternator reads 14.69

2011 won’t start have to put charger on & it starts & will start ok for couple hrs. Next day it’s same thing again have put charger.Haven’t took battery for check
