Interior lights stay on

Switch to interior lights is turned off
but there still on

Its either one of the door latches/pins that tells the bcm that the door is open or shut, the dome light switch itself or a broken wire from one of the latches/pins.

Are there more than one courtesy floor board light in a 95 dakota, or just the one on passenger side. I'm not sure why the interior lights do not come on once opening the passenger door. Works with driver side. Last are there seat belt chimes to alert me when I do not have my seat belt buckled. What is the wire doing going to seat belt.
