Even if thy arent the same size tire that came on the car?
What size do you have? If they are larger you probably could reduce the pressure by a small amount.
I use the recommended pressure as a starting point. If the tires wear in the middle I reduce pressure or wear on the edges I increase pressure. If you carry a lot of weight in the car it is a good idea to increase pressure as long as you do not exceed the maximum pressure on the sidewall.
